From April 16 to May 31, 2010, please your “palette” with a kaleidoscope of culinary experiences at the Fifth Annual Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival. For 46 days, Disney’s California Adventure® Park and select locations at the Disneyland® Resort will host “The Art of Flavor,” one of the most anticipated events of spring! Enjoy cooking demonstrations, seminars and recipes that reflect the Golden State’s regional and culinary diversity.

Many Festival favorites are returning, in addition to new events and activities…including the all-new Festival Showplace!

Festival Highlights

“Taste of California” Marketplace
The marketplace returns to Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival! Enjoy unique festival foods created especially for the Festival. Delicious tapas-sized tastings are available in the Festival Showplace, located in Stage 12 in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Expertly paired wines and beer are also available for purchase.

“Hollywood & Wine” Lounge
Enjoy an outstanding selection of wines by the glass and unique wine flights. Join your friends to toast the perfect day!

Festival Gift Shop
Shop for specially designed Festival merchandise and logo items to commemorate your visit.

The “Wine Seller”
With hundreds of wines featured, you’re sure to find a new favorite. The Wine Seller offers full-bottle sales of selected wines available for purchase to enjoy at home. For your convenience, bottle purchases will be delivered to Package Pickup located outside the entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park.

Showplace Stage
Attend seminars, demonstrations and events — including Sweet Sundays — at the Showplace Stage, located in the Festival Showplace.

Chef Showcase Stage
Experience delicious demonstrations or see some of your favorite celebrity chefs live and in-person at this culinary hub in Sunshine Plaza. Every day find new ways to create a culinary masterpiece with your own art of flavor.

In accordance with California state law, Guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages. Please bring valid identification. Absolutely no one under age 21 may enter any wine, beer or spirit seminar, event or venue, including children or infants accompanied by an adult.

All events, seminars, prices, food options, services, age ranges, locations, dates, times, menus, participating chefs, and presenters are subject to restrictions and may change without notice. Check the daily schedule posted at each venue.

* Admission to Disney’s California Adventure® Park is required for events held within the Park and is not included in the event price.

** Additional fee and advance reservations are required for Signature Events, which are subject to availability as space is limited.

Twenty-three years ago, at the height of his phenomenal entertainment career, Michael Jackson joined forces with Disney to create “Captain EO,” a groundbreaking 17-minute 3D film experience.

Disney Parks confirmed via its Twitter account that the classic musical spectacular that thrilled Disneyland Park guests from 1986 – 1997, will return for an exclusive, limited engagement at Disneyland park beginning on February 23, 2010!

The attraction’s return to Tomorrowland will provide new audiences the opportunity to experience the original 3D production for the very first time, as well as a nostalgic look back for longtime fans wanting to see “The King of Pop” in a rare performance created for the big-screen, just one more time.
